About

Jacqueline FarrellAbout – Jacqueline Farrell

I was born in London but moved to Colchester in Essex when I was 6. I have worked as a student nurse at Guy’s Hospital in London, as a Customs and Excise officer, as a nanny in Monaco, and an English assistant in France before returning to the UK and training as a teacher at Bath University. After more travels through India, south-east Asia and Australia, I now live on the Wirral with my husband and two sons where I teach English and French. I have been writing as a hobby since I was 18, finally getting a novel published when I was 45. ‘Maids, Mothers and Crones’, the sequel to ‘Sophronia and the Vampire’, will be published by The Wild Rose Press on 1st May 2015, and I am also currently working on the next book in the series about Sophronia, entitled ‘The Scrying Stone’ . I am also working on another historical romance and an alternative history fantasy ‘Welcome to Rome’.
